Welcome to Laithes Primary School

Welcome From The Head Teacher

Welcome to Laithes Primary. We are a caring and inclusive community that ensures that every child is placed at the centre of every learning experience, where we put great emphasis on achieving the highest standards possible. Laithes Primary School joined the Every Child Matters Multi Academy Trust in April 2020.
We are committed to promoting positive social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, resilience and wellness for pupils, staff and our community. We do this by offering a broad and balanced curriculum that captures the children’s imagination, natural curiosity and desire to learn. We strive for each learner to achieve their full potential regardless of gender, race, ability or economic circumstance.
All our children are actively involved in learning that goes beyond the classroom. The children take part in regular visits outside of school and we encourage outdoor learning to empower our children to take risks, make informed choices, improve their self-esteem and explore the world around them.
We believe in the importance of working in partnership with parents for the benefit of our children and their futures. Our website is intended to give you information and share work done in class. We hope you enjoy reading our website and we look forward to working in close partnership with you and your child.
Mrs Georgina Fletcher
