Our Parent Support Advisor, Stacey, works full time and she is available throughout the school day for you or your child to speak to about queries or worries, whether school related or otherwise. She works with the Early Help team, Social Services and Health Services (School Nurse, 0-19 team, health visitors and CAMHS where appropriate).
Stacey's role is to support with good school attendance, to provide private support with parents/carers that is tailored to your situation. She provides advice and parenting courses in school.
The Nurturing Programme is delivered face to face for 2 hours a week for 10 weeks. It is suitable for parents/carers with children aged 3-12 years old and aims to help adults understand and manage feelings and behaviour and become more positive and nurturing in their relationships with children and each other. It encourages an approach to relationships that gives children and adults an emotionally healthy start for their lives and learning
